Emily Cartlidge of Bryn Lake Records & Information Management Services was selected to speak at the ARMA Canada 2019 conference in Montreal this past June. Presenting on Archival Conservation for Beginners and receiving an overall speaker's review of 4.9/5 stars, Cartlidge discussed various environmental, security, storage and facility considerations for the storage and handling of historic documents. Attendees were also given the opportunity to practice basic paper cleaning and encapsulation techniques using original 19th century documents donated by Bruce Copeman and Jane Kessler of Cobourg, Ontario.
